Privacy at a glance

This notice describes how Unified handles personal information when you visit our website, contact us, create or use an account, access UniPortal, or use features and integrations provided through Unified.

Your organization controls the business information it places in its workspace. If you use Unified through an employer, customer, or other organization, that organization may be responsible for its own privacy practices and instructions.

Important context Security controls vary by feature and configuration. Contact us to review your specific access, integration, and data handling requirements.

02

Information we collect

We collect information in a few practical categories so we can operate the website and the Unified product.

Information you provide

This can include your name, email address, phone number, business name, account details, support requests, sales inquiries, and any notes or files you choose to send.

Workspace content

Organizations may store customer records, conversations, tickets, invoices, files, tasks, schedules, and other operational information in Unified.

Technical and usage information

We may receive device, browser, IP address, sign in, request, diagnostic, and feature usage information needed to operate and protect the service.

Connected service data

When an organization enables an integration, Unified may process the records and events that organization chooses to connect to its workflows.

03

How we use information

We use information to operate Unified and support the people and organizations that rely on it.

  • Provide, maintain, and support Unified and its customer operations features.
  • Authenticate users, apply permissions, and keep employee and customer access separate.
  • Complete the workflows, messages, automations, and connected actions an organization requests.
  • Detect misuse, investigate errors, protect accounts, and maintain service reliability.
  • Respond to questions, sales requests, feedback, and support needs.
  • Understand product usage and improve the experience, subject to applicable choices and law.
04

How information is shared

Information is shared when it is needed to provide the service, follow an organization's instructions, or meet legal and safety responsibilities.

Within your organization

Workspace members and administrators may see information according to their role, assigned work, and organization settings.

With customer portal users

Customers see information made available through UniPortal. Internal employee workspace access remains separate.

With connected services

Information may move to or from an integration when an authorized user or configured workflow requests that action.

With service providers

We may use providers for hosting, authentication, communications, storage, AI features, monitoring, and other services needed to operate Unified.

For legal or safety reasons

Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to follow law, respond to valid legal process, enforce agreements, or protect people, rights, and systems.

During a business change

Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate notice and safeguards.

05

Cookies and similar technology

Unified may use cookies and similar browser storage to keep sessions working, protect sign in, remember preferences, understand service performance, and support enabled website features.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking storage that is necessary for authentication or security may prevent parts of Unified from working correctly.

06

How we protect information

Unified uses technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No online service can promise absolute security, but the product is designed with practical boundaries and checks.

  • Employee access is scoped through workspace membership and assigned roles.
  • Customer access uses a separate UniPortal session and API path.
  • Connected service credentials are handled on the server rather than exposed in browser code.
  • Organization and portal context is validated before protected records are returned.
  • Selected sign in, security, assignment, and workflow events are retained for review where the feature supports it.
07

Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, support an account, maintain security and operational records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.

Retention can vary by record type, workspace configuration, enabled provider, and contractual requirement. Some information may remain in limited backups or logs for a reasonable period after it is removed from active use.

08

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability for certain personal information.

  • Update available account and profile information through the relevant product settings.
  • Use the unsubscribe option in marketing email when one is provided.
  • Adjust browser settings for cookies and similar storage.
  • Email us to submit a privacy request or ask how your information is handled.

We may need to verify your identity and, when an organization controls the relevant workspace information, involve that organization in the response.

09

Children

Unified is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Unified, contact us so we can review the request.

10

Third party services

Unified may link to or connect with third party services selected by an organization. Those providers have their own terms and privacy practices, and information sent to them is handled under their policies.
